Dr. Nandita Mahajan is the General Surgery Chief Resident at Montefiore Medical Center and former Burn Surgery Fellow at Jacobi Medical Center. Her work spans thoracic and general surgery, with a strong focus on surgical innovations and the integration of AI in healthcare.

Nandita combines clinical leadership with academic research and is pursuing an Executive MBA alongside her surgical training. She is set to begin a combined Thoracic Surgery and Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship, continuing to advance multidisciplinary innovations in modern surgery.
